The 8th Annual JKO Memorial Golf Classic/Long Island Jasper Golf Outing will be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Hamlet Wind Watch Golf & Country Club in Hauppauge, Long Island. 

At the end of the day there will have a reception that will feature a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, awards, raffles and a silent auction.

Golf

The golf outing will be a shotgun start.  We will play a 4-man team scramble format to allow a fun but competitive event.  Teams will compete for low team and runner-up team in both gross and net scores.  Additional prizes will be awarded, including:

Jet Blue Challenge
Longest Drive (Men's and Ladies)
Closest to the Pin (3 - Men's and Ladies)
Low Team Gross
Runner-up Team Gross

Reception

Join us for the reception after the day’s events.  The reception will feature a full buffet and bar.   The reception is a wonderful opportunity for friends and alumni to get together and share a camaraderie that centers on our connection to James’ and/or Manhattan College. 

Silent Auction/Raffles

A silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, tickets to events, golf foursomes at Private Country Clubs and and special packages will be auctioned off during the cocktail hour.  Raffles will be drawn during dinner.
